Your account information
We verify the information supplied when you register. Checks cover identity and may also involve security reviews or questions about where deposited money came from. Email [email protected] with privacy enquiries.
Documents and verification
Use the account verification area to provide requested documents. Manual checks can involve photographs or screenshots of the required evidence. Further information may be requested before a withdrawal or during later security reviews.
When requested documents are not received in time, deposits, withdrawals or account access may be limited. Debit-card photographs must not be uploaded through this process. Complete card details must not be shared in chat.
How checks use information
Authorised credit-reference agencies may receive your details and compare them with records they can access. A record of the enquiry may remain with the agency.
Information may also be supplied to fraud-prevention agencies. These checks support identification, credit decisions and the prevention or detection of fraud. Verification documents can be processed by our own staff or trusted outside providers.
Requests about your data
The Help Centre's Policies and GDPR area provides a data-protection request form. Use that route to ask about the personal information associated with your account or to request its deletion.
The time needed to respond depends on how complex the request is. Requests are considered individually, with a response normally due within one month.
Records after closure
Closing an account does not remove all its records. FDJ UNITED has duties to retain information, and the period depends on the type of data. Records are normally kept for five to ten years where those duties apply.
A deletion request can therefore leave some records in place. When information is needed to prevent further gambling by a person with gambling difficulties, only the minimum required for that purpose is retained.
Messages and your preferences
Promotional messages need your consent, and you may unsubscribe. Account service messages can still be sent because they communicate matters affecting your account.
Players who have self-excluded are excluded from commercial communications under FDJ UNITED's policy. Our gambling controls page explains how exclusion affects access to an account.
